The Goldman Environmental Prize
Since 1989 The Goldman Environmental Prize, considered the “Green Nobel," has honored grassroots activists around the world. Just before the annual awards ceremony, a number of assets are created to honor the six recipients–each of whom protect their lands, communities, and people from environmental harm and injustice, often at great personal risk.
